How Is an Elastomeric Membrane Installed?
The performance of an elastomeric membrane depends directly on the quality of its installation. At ML Pro Toitures, elastomeric membrane is our primary specialty. Our team works with Soprema and IKO products, and every installation is completed according to manufacturer standards to ensure the validity of your warranty.

Inspection and Substrate Preparation:
The decking, insulation, and vapour barrier are repaired as needed, then the surface is cleaned and primed as needed.

Installation of the Base Layer:
The first membrane is nailed or adhered to the decking according to the roof configuration.

Application of the Finishing Layer:
The finishing membrane is torch-fused over the base layer.

Sealing of Seams and Flashings:
Every seam, drain perimeter, chimney, and flashing is fused to eliminate any potential point of water infiltration.

Final Inspection and Cleanup :
The entire surface is inspected to confirm waterproofing integrity.
